The picture is the perfect accompaniment to the theme! Fun clues: 57A, 3D, 4D, 11D, and 20D. [Should 7D indicate an abbreviation? I stared at the fill for a while wondering what it was and then a light bulb went on]. Joe Posnanski is such a great writer; I loved The Baseball 100 (which I, too, read in 2022!), and I have a couple others of his on my list. Speaking of books, have you read David Brooks’ book with 1D in the title?

I went back and forth on whether 7D needed an abbreviation indicator. I guess it probably should – I’ll fix it. I haven’t read the Brooks book – actually, I’m not sure I’ve read any of this books.
